We have been working on our van build out for a while now, slowly adding things that help with our efficiency and organization.
The very start of Glammer Hammer!
We added plywood flooring and moved the metal shelving to the side door for easy access.
We found we needed a designated space for our ladders and break (for bending and breaking metal for flashing or drip edge) while still having space for large materials such as long pieces of wood, drywall, downspouts, or pieces of gutter.
After we got our small tools, ladders, and break organized, we needed a place for the bigger tools that we use frequently because we couldn’t have them rolling around in the back of the van potentially causing damage to materials. We built a small box shelf to hold our bigger tools to get them off of the van floor.
During a job working with fascia wrap and drip edge we needed a place to put the extra pieces that were a bit too long to put back in the box, so we added a long shelf on top of where we store our ladders at. We also added a caulk box for our extra caulk, work gloves, trash bags, and paper towels
